Whats the best windows laptop to get?

Im looking for the best laptop to get because the laptop I have now is a complete mess. I cant pick it up or move it cause It will freeze and it didnt use to do that. Im looking for a good powerful well made, tough laptop. I need one that has a good battery, nice screen not a crappy laptop. Please help me. thanks
My budget is $ 500 up

Depends on your budget? I could paste you a $ 3,500 laptop, or a $ 500 one.

What’s your budget?

laptops under 500.i want to buy a laptop for movie , net and music listening in range of 35 to 40 k range which laptop to buy i have no idea of which is rough and tough and for home use purpose ?

Personally I’d go with the lenovo. They’re built for rough commercial fleet use and can take a beating. As far as being for home both choices will be more than capable of video, music, downloading etc. Good luck!

If you do the further research you’ll find that lenovo’s were specifically designed for rough use. They have an active protection system built in that protects the components when it detects that you’ve dropped the laptop, sort of like how an airbag works in a car. HP’s don’t have the best reputation for quality laptops, but they’ve improved in build quality lately so in the end its your choice.

id go with hp i have a really cool white hp special edition laptop it works great.Im a movie editor so it works great!!!

Clearly HP. If you go to customer reviews if you don’t want my word for – such as cnet or zdnet you find the lenova is not built for rough and tough wear. Best for you to go in a store that sells both and you will see by the cases alone which will stand up with use. Some of the insides are the same with same specs. You can compare the models you are looking for on tech sites.

i think HP is great
but i would be careful of the lasting of the battery

If you are in the market, then you’ll want to find the best laptop computer for you. Note that last phrase “for you” because it is a critical part of the purchase process. Too often people interpret “best” in the wrong way – most expensive, slickest, fastest, or state-of-the-artYou should also be sure you truly need a laptop and, if so, whether it will be your only machine. If most of your work will be done on a desk top machine and you only need a laptop when traveling, you should be able to keep your costs down. But, if it’s going to be the machine you do everything on, you will likely have to spend more.
